Tânia da Fonte
Born in 1978, in Lisbon. Lives and work in Lisbon and Castro Verde.
Graduated in Fine Arts at the Fine Arts University of Lisbon, in 2003, the artist finishes the MFA in 2009 in Public Art and and New Artistic Strategies at Bahaus University, Weimar.
Has developed long-term projects, about specific historical/ geographical events, where usually some norms or laws are present. She builds stories that multiply in different formats: text, drawing, video, performance and sculpture.

Tânia da Fonte
Nasceu em 1978, em Lisboa. Vive e trabalha em Lisboa e Castro Verde.
Licenciada em Artes Plásticas pela Universidade de Belas Artes de Lisboa, em 2003, a Artista completa o seu MFA em 2009 em Arte Pública e Novas Estratégias Artísticas na Universidade Bahaus em Weimar.
Tem desenvolvido projectos extensos, sobre eventos históricos/ geográficos específicos, onde normalmente algumas normas ou leis estão presentes. São construídas histórias que se desdobram em diferentes formatos: texto, desenho, vídeo, performance e escultura.
